A Chinese Democracy is coming soon, but which kind?

Here’s a trick question. Which will come first a Chinese democracy or the Chinese Democracy? According to Slash, former lead guitarist for Guns ‘N’ Roses, he believes that the long awaited GNR album will be out this March. The album titled Chinese Democracy has been rumored to be coming out for years now. Axl Rose even put together a band to tour a few years ago, until he had an attack of the crazies and skipped some dates and then cancelled the majority of the tour never releasing the new album.

Slash says, “I’ve been told a lot of things over the years, but it definitely sounds like it’s coming out in March.” Dare we believe it’s true? Dare we believe it will have been worth the wait? I say no and no. After all the release dates that have come before we can’t be expected to believe this is the one. If it does come out this year, there is no way that it can be worth the wait. I believe that there is no way that Axl Rose can recapture the spirit of the original GNR and I'm definitely do not believe he can recapture the audience.

Axl got caught up in a crazy game of can you top this with himself. It is hard to top a double album that had many hits and sold millions and millions of copies and I believe that drove Rose crazy. Rose has been trying to make the perfect record and whatever the outcome he will not succeed without the original members.

I hope it does indeed arrive because I have been anxious to hear this masterpiece that has been in the works for almost a decade. I do not believe it will be enough to return Axl and GNR to the mountain that they were on top of in the mid to late 90s.
