Dazed and Confused returns from Criterion.

Good news for fans of the movie Dazed and Confused. And if you have not seen it, what are you waiting for? Dazed and Confused will be released soon as part of The Criterion Collection. What does this mean? It means more extras to enjoy. Bratch owns a Dazed and Confused DVD and the only extras are notes and some pictures. Recently Dazed and Confused was released with Fast Times at Ridgemont High as the Flashback Edition, but the extras were very thin. Even director Richard Linklater thought so and said at the time he was hoping for a Criterion Edition.

Check out some of the extra on the Criterion edition. An all new Hi-Def transfer, audio commentary from Linklater, a making of doc, two hours of rare footage of cast and crew, footage from the ten year anniversary celebration, audition footage, deleted scenes, and a collectible film poster. Where do I sign up? If it weren’t for the fact that I gave up the purchase of DVDs and CDs for lent, I would pre order this from Amazon.

This sounds like the ultimate edition for fans of this movie.
