Wii played the We or was it We played the Wii
Little something called eggnog milkshake night, led to bustin' out the Wii this past weekend. Our friends bought the system a while back. I think it is the next step towards the virtual reality room on Star Trek, but it's not there yet. I think it is uique and creative, but I am worried that the limitations of the sensitivity of the system will ultimately limit the sophistication of the games. I hear the Zelda game is off the chain, but I did not experience that one. I did play Ray man which was fantastic if you like slaughtering bunnies reminiscent of Donnie Darko. Overall it was fun, but I am not sold on buying one at this point.

Did you play any of the Wii Sports games? Those games looked good, especially the bowling and boxing games.
I want to get one at some point and time. I think it looks awesome and as time goes on and the game makers get accustomed to the system, I can only imagine the games becoming more and more sophisticated.
Dude, I just want to play Call of Duty. Having to literally aim and shoot at people and stab them when they get to close like on the commercials looks ridiculously fun. I just don't know if I can handle it.
Spoken like a true serial killer.
The sports games are pretty fun and the idea is great; but I think it will be followed with a much more sophisticated system that gets the same interface accross. I mean don't get me wrong you can bowl and throw spins and all sorts of things, I just think in the near future there will be a much better system out with the same idea.
I don't doubt that. I'm sure in the near future it will all be virtual reality and it will be actual soldiers Bratch gets to blast. All you will need is high speed internet and VR goggles and you will be set.
The Xbox 360 is calling my name. Of course we'll need high speed internet to play online with Xbox Live, but it looks like it rocks.
I like what the Wii has going for it, but the Xbox 360 and PS3 are technically "Next Generation" systems while the Wii has simply added motion sensitive controls.
Let's also not forget that the PS3 has motion sensitive controllers too. Not necessarily to the extent of the Wii, but it's still there.
