Through the Park That Day
Walking along the grass so green
I turned my head to view the scene
But could not remember which trees I'd walked between
Through the park that day
I realized how that experience had grown
And what impact the periphery had shown
While all my memories together had sewn
Through the park that day
For whether had I directly passed
Or my external eye had moved to fast
My total experience is what would last
Through the park that day
I understood the importance of the little things
And how each tiny voice loudly sings
Then welds together giving what the memory brings
Through the park that day
