Movin' on up.

I have been trying to post about the new major leaguer in the "family." I use this only slightly loosely because he has been in my wife's family longer than I have although the engagement/marriage is a question of when not if. His name is Stephen Tolleson. He was a standout short stop for the University of South Carolina Gamecocks for the past three years. This year he was drafted by the Twins and just in the past few days got called up to single A. His numbers have been good, but with his work ethic he should continue to make improvements. The next years will show us how much improvement will happen, but undoubtedly he will get even better. His father was a player (Wayne Tolleson) and his brother (Clint) is a standout golfer still in high school. It will be interesting to see where the next couple of years go for him, but for now just keep the name in the back of your head somewhere. You'll hear it again.
